Flatiron via Siphon Draw Trail

Flatiron is the advanced objective in this launch set. Arizona State Parks describes the route from Siphon Draw as challenging and lists the full out-and-back at about 5.8 miles. The route begins in Lost Dutchman State Park, continues toward the Tonto National Forest and Superstition Wilderness, and becomes substantially more demanding than the maintained lower trail.

This is not a casual extension to a park stroll. Plan for sustained elevation gain, steep and rough terrain, route-finding judgment, and a long exposed return. Carry more water than you expect to need, bring food and sun protection, use an offline map, hike with a capable partner, and tell someone your plan. Turn around if heat, footing, navigation, or timing becomes uncertain.
