Cadence at Gateway’s amenities center on The Square in southeast Mesa, where the pools, Flourish Community Center and indoor gathering spaces sit alongside courts, lawns and playgrounds. This photo guide looks more closely at the places behind the familiar aerial view of the waterslides.

For the neighborhood’s location, schools, parks and surrounding development, start with our Cadence at Gateway community guide.

The Square and Flourish Community Center

The Square is the larger amenity campus; Flourish is its indoor-outdoor community center. The names describe connected parts of the same gathering place. Harvard Investments identifies The Square as the central feature of its 460-acre Mesa community.

Our ground-level photos show shaded entrances, glass doors, landscaped lawns and covered walkways. These details give a different sense of the campus than the aerial pool photographs: it is also a place to sit outside, meet someone and move between activities.

Cadence pools, waterslides and spa

The aquatic facilities include a play pool with waterslides, a separate lap pool and a spa. The HOA’s published schedule lists pool and spa hours as 5 a.m.–10 p.m., with slides operating from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Check the official Cadence amenity page and current HOA notices before planning around those hours.

These are resident amenities, not a public City of Mesa water park.

MIX, STIR and Game On

MIX is the event space, with audiovisual facilities and a patio. STIR offers a casual setting with Wi-Fi. Game On brings games such as pinball and foosball into the recreation mix.

The photographs help place those names. MIX’s sign hangs beside glass doors under a long covered walkway. At STIR, outdoor chairs cluster around low tables, with a shaded playground visible beyond the patio.

For a celebration or meeting, use the HOA’s amenity rental instructions. Review the rental packet, check availability and submit the application. The HOA says a request is not a confirmed reservation; confirmation comes by email after the completed application and security deposit are received. Ask the office about current eligibility, charges and requirements.

MOTO Fitness Center

MOTO includes cardio and strength equipment, a spin room and a movement studio. Its posted hours are 5 a.m.–10 p.m. Our photo shows the signed entrance beside courtyard seating, making it easier to recognize the fitness center within The Square.

Tennis, parks and outdoor gathering areas

The HOA lists tennis, basketball, volleyball and bocce, plus playgrounds and a fenced dog park. Posted park and court hours are 6 a.m.–10 p.m.

The tennis photograph shows blue playing surfaces, nets, fencing and a shaded bench between the courts. Another view shows tables and umbrellas beside a covered outdoor gathering area and lawn. Together, they show how much of the amenity experience takes place outside the buildings.
