Sprouts opened its Mesa-Ellsworth store on Friday, September 18, 2026, bringing another food-shopping option to the Eastmark area. Our opening-day photos capture the scene outside and a first look at the aisles inside.

The entrance photo tells the story best: shoppers heading through the doors, balloons overhead and a sign advertising the grand-opening Rewards offer. Farther along the building, the outdoor line follows the covered walkway beside the parking lot.

Where is the new Mesa Sprouts?

The store is at 5131 S. Ellsworth Road, Mesa, AZ 85212, near Ray Road. Its regular hours are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, according to Sprouts’ opening announcement.

The location anchors Eastmarket at Eastmark, the shopping center at the northeast corner of Ellsworth and Ray. Common Bond Development Group’s project update puts the store at 23,299 square feet within the 6.6-acre center. For nearby households, the opening adds a new stop to the weekly grocery routine at a familiar southeast Mesa intersection.

Grand-opening events continue September 18–20

If you missed the first morning, the celebration continues through Sunday. Sprouts’ official Mesa-Ellsworth page lists these pop-up party hours, with samples and a scavenger hunt:

  • Friday, September 18: 7 a.m.–5 p.m.

  • Saturday, September 19: 7 a.m.–5 p.m.; the first 200 in-store shoppers receive a reusable tote.

  • Sunday, September 20: 9 a.m.–4 p.m.

Giveaways and activities are in-store and subject to availability. Regular store hours extend beyond the party hours.

What to know about the 20% offer

The opening-weekend promotion runs September 18–20 for Sprouts Rewards members at Mesa-Ellsworth, with a $20 maximum discount per account across the promotion period. Set your store to Mesa-Ellsworth and use your Rewards barcode or phone number at checkout; the online code is MESAGO20 at shop.sprouts.com.

Alcohol, gift cards, postage and tax are excluded, as are third-party delivery orders. Other restrictions apply; check the official offer terms before shopping.
