Oregano’s at Signal Butte and Elliot roads in Mesa is now open. East Valley Explorer confirmed by phone on October 9, 2026 that the restaurant at 3506 S. Signal Butte Road is open.

Updated October 9, 2026: East Valley Explorer confirmed by phone that the restaurant is open. The exact opening day has not been confirmed.

Oregano’s is now open

Zac Coplan called the restaurant on October 9 and confirmed that it is open. That confirmation updates our earlier opening-status report; it does not establish the restaurant’s first day of service.

Before the opening, Oregano’s company LinkedIn page advertised an August 22 East Mesa hiring event for a new restaurant and recruitment for front-of-house and kitchen positions. That hiring announcement provided background on the new restaurant; it did not specify a public opening day or identify the street address.

Where is the new Oregano’s?

Mesa’s City Council record for August 31, 2026, file 26-0765, identifies Oregano’s Pizza Bistro at 3506 South Signal Butte Road. It concerns a restaurant liquor-license application; the record is useful for confirming the address, not an opening date or a final licensing outcome.

The restaurant occupies a pad in the development at the northwest corner of Signal Butte and Elliot. The real-estate firm involved in the acquisition identified that intersection, and the aerial views show the building beside the neighboring retail strip. Swig’s official location page lists its nearby shop at 3528 S. Signal Butte Road, Suite 103.

A closer look at the entrance and covered patio

The new cover photo shows the front doors beneath the covered walkway, with the Oregano’s sign above the green metal roof. Marked accessible parking spaces and landscaping are visible along the front of the building.

The patio view adds a detail the earlier wide shots could not show clearly: rows of tables and chairs beneath a roof, string lights overhead and a green gate set into the brick perimeter wall. A sign on the gate directs guests to see the host for patio seating.

Along the side of the restaurant, colorful wall panels feature pizza, beer and wine illustrations beneath the roofline. The close view below replaces our earlier, more distant side photograph.

What to know before making plans

The restaurant is confirmed open, but we have not verified its local hours, special offers or location-specific menu. Confirm those details directly with the restaurant before visiting; Oregano’s official location finder is another resource for restaurant information.

The chain’s general menu includes pizza, pasta, salads and sandwiches, giving neighbors an idea of the food offered across Oregano’s restaurants.

The site is near Eastmark’s northeastern edge; Mesa places Eastmark south of Elliot between Ellsworth and Signal Butte roads.
